We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Support Analyst (Sourcing Specialist)

Location: Lagos
Reports To: Sourcing and Procurement Team Lead
Core Working Relationships: Directors, Business Development Manager, Senior Business Development Executive, Business Development Officers, Supply Chain Department.
Department: Business Development

Accountabilities (Responsibilities)

  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Listen attentively to consumer questions and provide knowledgeable and insightful answers to encourage product sales.
  • Respond swiftly and courteously to customer complaints or inquiries.
  • Work on Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and source for the best prices.
  • Analyze the market and establish competitive advantages.
  • Maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects within the assigned territory.
  • Work closely with the line manager to build the sales pipeline and close deals.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline from inception to completion and fill gaps when required.
  • Monitor Purchase Order processes and follow through every stage until delivery to the client.
  • Handle after-sales support to clients.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Maintain a database of new and existing clients and regularly update the list.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information for easy accessibility.
  • Regularly follow up with clients via phone calls and emails on quotations sent.
  • Build rapport with clients and vendors through friendly and engaging communication.
  • Keep up with product and service information updates.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss benchmarks and team goals.
  • Prioritize and plan work activities effectively while managing time efficiently.
  • Maintain attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness when handling tasks.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to perform different tasks and support team members in daily activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Operations.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
