Job Summary
The Cloud & Collaboration Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing, administering, and optimizing cloud-based collaboration platforms, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and modern web technologies.
The role bridges cloud engineering, enterprise collaboration, and web development to deliver secure, scalable, and user centric digital solutions aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Cloud Engineering:
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and services (primarily Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365).
Implement and maintain identity, access, security, and compliance configurations (Entra ID / Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access).
Monitor cloud performance, availability, and cost optimization using best practices.
Support automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives where applicable. SharePoint Administration & Collaboration Services
Administer and support SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, permissions, content types, and governance.
Manage Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and related M365 collaboration services.
Implement information architecture, metadata, retention, and records management policies.
Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues; provide Tier 2/3 support and service improvements.
Lead or support SharePoint migrations, intranet implementations, and adoption initiatives. Web Development & Digital Experience
Design, develop, and maintain responsive web solutions using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks where applicable).
Develop custom SharePoint solutions (SPFx, Power Automate, Power Apps) to extend platform capabilities.
Ensure websites and intranet solutions meet usability, accessibility, branding, and performance standards.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional solutions. Governance, Security & Continuous Improvement
Enforce platform governance, security, and compliance standards.
Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
Identify opportunities for automation, modernization, and service enhancements.
Provide guidance, training, and best practices to end users and business teams.
Requirements
Academic Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Relevant certifications (preferred):
Microsoft Azure Administrator / Architect Microsoft 365 or SharePoint-related certifications
Technical Skills:
Strong experience with Cloud Engineering (Azure, Microsoft 365).
Hands-on SharePoint Online administration and solution design.
Solid web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; experience with SPFx is an advantage).
Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
Understanding of security, identity, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
