Job Title: Landscape Architect

Job Description

• The Landscape Architect will be responsible for leading and supporting the design, documentation, and implementation of diverse landscape projects which includes designing outdoor areas such as parks, gardens, campuses, residential estates, and urban spaces.
• Ensure to analyze environmental conditions, develop design concepts, and oversee project implementation to ensure safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative landscape designs, including site layouts, grading plans, planting plans, and irrigation designs.
• Prepare conceptual sketches, renderings, and 3D models for client presentations and permitting.
• Integrate sustainable design principles (low-impact development, native plantings, stormwater management).
• Conduct site analysis, including topography, soil, hydrology, climate, and existing vegetation.
• Produce detailed construction documentation (plans, details, sections, and specifications) using CAD and BIM software.
• Ensure designs comply with local zoning codes, ADA requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure conformance with design intent.
• Review drawings, respond to RFIs (Requests for Information), and approve material samples.
• Resolve field discrepancies and propose design modifications as needed.
• Prepare site plans, sketches, and digital models using design software
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and urban planners
• Select appropriate plants, materials, and structures
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and zoning laws
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and construction processes
• Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders
• Oversee site development to ensure designs are properly implemented

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field (Professional certification or licensure also required)
• 4 - 6 years of professional landscape architecture experience.
• Experience with public infrastructure, multifamily housing, hospitality.
• Strong graphic and verbal presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to technical design detail.
• Demonstrated experience in all phases of design from Schematic Design through Construction Administration.
• Proficiency required: AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
• Highly desirable: Revit, Rhino, Lumion, or other BIM/visualization software.
• Experience with planting design and knowledge of regional horticulture/ecology.

Salary Range
N300,000 - N400,000 / Month.
