Job Title: POS Sales Officer (Agency Banking) - Entry Level

Location: Nationwide
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking smart, energetic, and result-oriented Entry Level POS Sales Officers to support the growth of our Agency Banking operations.
  • The successful candidates will be responsible for onboarding agents, promoting POS terminals, driving transaction volumes, and building strong relationships with merchants and agency banking customers.
  • This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sales, business development, and financial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market and sell POS terminals and agency banking solutions to merchants and business owners.
  • Identify and onboard new agency banking agents within assigned locations.
  • Drive customer acquisition and increase transaction activities across agent locations.
  • Educate merchants and agents on the use and benefits of POS terminals and agency banking services.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with agents and merchants.
  • Conduct routine field visits and market outreach activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation and KYC compliance during onboarding.
  • Monitor agent performance and provide support where necessary.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalate technical issues appropriately.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales and onboarding targets.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales and activity reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • 0–2 years experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or banking is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
  • Good marketing and negotiation skills.
  • Basic understanding of POS and agency banking operations is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Willingness to work on the field and engage customers directly.
