Job Summary

• A reputable luxury bus company operating on Lagos Mainland is urgently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Electrician to join its maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in luxury buses and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and maintain wiring systems, batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, and lighting systems.
• Install and maintain GPS tracking systems, CCTV, and other onboard electronic devices.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and electrical inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve technical faults efficiently.
• Ensure all electrical repairs comply with safety and operational standards.
• Work closely with maintenance and fleet teams to reduce vehicle downtime.

Requirements
Key Experience Required:

• 5–7 years of proven experience as an Automotive / Auto Electrician.
• Strong hands-on experience working with luxury buses, commercial vehicles, or heavy-duty trucks.
• Solid knowledge of automotive electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CAN bus systems, Engine Control Modules (ECM), sensors, and modern vehicle electronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals.

Educational Qualifications:

• Minimum of OND (Ordinary National Diploma) or HND (Higher National Diploma) in Auto Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or related discipline.
• Trade Test Certificate or Technical / Vocational Certification in Automobile Electrical Systems is an added advantage.
• Additional certifications in automotive diagnostics or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance will be an added advantage.

• High level of attention to detail and safety compliance.
