Job Title: IT Officer

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The IT Officer will be responsible for managing the organization’s IT systems, providing technical support, maintaining hardware and software infrastructure, ensuring network efficiency, and supporting digital operations across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
• Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot IT-related issues.
• Monitor and maintain internet connectivity, networks, and system security.
• Manage printers, scanners, CCTV systems, and office IT equipment.
• Ensure regular system backups and data protection.
• Maintain company email systems and user accounts.
• Support virtual meetings, presentations, and digital communication tools.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
• Maintain IT inventory and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity standards.

Requirements
Applicants must possess:

• 1–2 years relevant work experience in IT support or system administration.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Required Technical Skills:
Candidates should possess knowledge or experience in:

• Computer hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
• Networking and internet configuration
• Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
• Windows Operating Systems
• System and software installation
• CCTV and biometric device management
• Cybersecurity basics and data protection
• Email configuration and IT support services
• Cloud storage and backup systems

Skills:

• Knowledge of graphic design tools
• Website management experience
• Basic programming knowledge
• Social media and digital tools management
• Certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, Google IT Support, Microsoft Certifications, etc.
