It is your most underutilised asset. Whether it is a household turning kitchen and organic waste into clean cooking gas, a poultry or livestock farm converting animal waste into the energy that runs its entire operation — and the bio-organic fertiliser that enriches its soil — a restaurant or hotel eliminating its cooking gas expenditure through its own food waste, or an industrial facility achieving complete energy autonomy, Zohar builds the infrastructure that makes it possible.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Brand & Growth Strategist

Location: Owerri, Imo

Job Summary

  • This role is not looking for a "Social Media Manager." We are looking for a bold, courageous strategist who can build a brand from the ground up, own the customer experience end-to-end, and nurture the relationships that turn first-time enquiries into long-term clients.
  • You will not simply be posting content; you will be defining how Nigerian households, farm owners, commercial businesses, and industrial operators think about energy independence and waste – and ensuring that every touchpoint with Zohar Bio Systems reflects the standard of excellence our engineering delivers.
  • The Strategist will lead and implement strategies to drive brand growth through effective lead generation, compelling storytelling, innovative marketing campaigns, authority-building, and the delivery of an outstanding customer experience across all four segments.

Key Things that you will drive

  • Own the Narrative: Your key performance indicator is simple – when a Nigerian homeowner is tired of purchasing cooking gas every week, they think "Zohar." When a farm owner is sitting on tonnes of animal waste and paying energy bills he ought not to be paying, he thinks "Zohar." When a restaurant owner or hotel manager wants to cut their cooking gas expenditure and manage food waste responsibly, they think "Zohar." When an industrial Chief Financial Officer needs to convert an environmental liability into a financial asset, Zohar Bio Systems is the answer they find.
  • Tell the Story: Facts inform. Stories convert. You will craft compelling narratives that bring the Zohar’s mission to life – from the family that no longer fears a gas shortage, to the farm that now runs entirely on its own waste, to the restaurant that has slashed its energy bills, to the industrial plant that has achieved full energy autonomy. You will make people feel what is possible before they ever speak to our engineers.
  • Own the Customer Experience: From the first enquiry to post-installation follow-up, you are responsible for ensuring every client interaction is professional, warm, and reassuring. You will set the standard for how Zohar Bio Systems treats its clients – and you will hold that standard without exception.
  • Stakeholder and Client Relations: You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, government stakeholders, community representatives, and investors. You are the human face of Zohar Bio Systems, and you understand that trust is built in every conversation, every follow-up, and every meeting.
  • Organised and Records-Driven: You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, enquiries, proposals, follow-ups, and onboarding progress. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
  • Radical Transparency: The clean energy space is full of greenwashing and empty claims. Your content will be the antidote. You will educate the market – from the household cook to the farm manager, the restaurant owner, and the boardroom – on the real economics of biogas and Waste-to-Energy: what it costs, what it saves, what it produces, and why it works.
  • Roadshows and Events: You will plan, organise, and execute roadshows, community outreach events, and product awareness activations that bring the Zohar Bio Systems story directly to residential communities, farming cooperatives, commercial business clusters, and industry gatherings. You understand how to coordinate logistics, manage stakeholders on the ground, and ensure every event leaves a lasting impression.
  • Paid Advertising and Campaigns: You will plan and run targeted paid advertising campaigns across relevant digital platforms to generate qualified leads across all four customer segments. You will use artificial intelligence tools to optimise content creation, audience targeting, and campaign performance.
  • Metrics That Matter: We do not pay for "awareness." You will be measured on Customer Acquisition Cost, qualified lead sign-ups, client onboarding, and customer satisfaction scores. We expect you to design and run experiments, not just campaigns.
  • High Level and Low Level: Strategy and positioning sessions in the morning; attending to a client enquiry, coordinating a roadshow, or filming a residential biogas unit installation in the afternoon. If you are too senior to get your hands dirty, do not apply.

  • Organised and Detail-Oriented: You keep meticulous records. You set follow-up reminders. You do not lose leads, miss appointments, or forget commitments. Your pipeline is always up to date.
  • Artificially Intelligent: You actively use artificial intelligence tools to enhance your productivity – whether for content creation, campaign planning, customer communication, or data analysis. You are not afraid of new technology; you embrace it.
  • A Finisher: You do not wait for perfect conditions or committee sign-off. You see a gap, and you fill it.
  • Proven: Show us what you have built. We want to see campaigns that converted, clients that stayed, and relationships that grew – not just a curriculum vitae full of buzzwords.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in customer experience, brand and growth marketing, client relations, or business development
  • Demonstrable experience planning and executing roadshows, events, or community activations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Canva for content design and visual communication
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence productivity and marketing tools
  • Experience in planning and running paid digital advertising campaigns
  • Search engine optimisation and Google Analytics
  • Bachelor of Science, Higher National Diploma, or National Diploma in any relevant field (a plus)
