We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Lead

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, institutional investors, and key stakeholders.
• Promote and market financial and investment products to prospective clients.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
• Lead client acquisition and retention initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored financial solutions for clients.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and pitch materials.
• Drive achievement of sales and growth targets.
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
• Very well experienced in business development, sales, relationship management, or strategic partnerships.
• Strong understanding of financial services and investment products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed business targets.
• Strong networking and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and lead strategic initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with an Islamic bank or Islamic asset management company will be highly preferred.
• Exposure to Islamic finance products and services is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Shariah-compliant investment structures and financial instruments will be an added advantage.
