Job Title: Learning and Development Manager

About the Role

• We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Learning and Development Manager to lead workforce capability development within a dynamic production and factory environment.
• The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage training programs that enhance employee performance, operational efficiency, and safety standards.
• This role requires a strong background in manufacturing/production environments, with a hands-on approach to training and development initiatives. The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to Niger State.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with business objectives
• Identify skills gaps and design targeted training programs for factory and production staff
• Lead onboarding, continuous learning, and leadership development initiatives
• Partner with production managers to improve workforce productivity and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry training standards
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using KPIs and performance metrics
• Manage external training vendors and internal facilitators
• Drive a strong culture of continuous improvement and employee development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or related field (Master’s Degree is an advantage)
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Learning & Development within the production/manufacturing or factory environment
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale training programs
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial setting
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
• Must be willing to relocate to Niger State.
