Job Title: Financial Accountant 

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for a smart, detail-oriented and reliable Financial Accountant to join our team.
• The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting. and basic tax compliance.
• The candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s financial operations with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work independently are important for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Manage daily accounting operations including invoicing, payments and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper documentation.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support payroll processing and statutory remittances.
• Assist with tax filing including VAT, PAYE and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing systems.
• Support internal audits and external audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) is an added advantage.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / Month.
