The management team has a wealth of experience in engineering, construction, and maintenance services, having previously managed and supervised many onshore and offshore facilities for major oil companies in Nigeria, which led to the name “Megashore.” Although recently established, Megashore Oilfield Services Limited is poised to compete favorably with other companies both locally and internationally in the provision of quality products and services to the oil and gas industry.

We are currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Well Completion Engineer

Location: Rivers
Job type: Full-time

Functions

• Lead the office Completions team during execution of the work scope from town
• Mentor junior staff and provide them with the necessary skills to carry out completion and workover activities safely and proficiently.
• Ensure equipment is in place and inspected prior to job execution
• Ensure equipment is ordered to the right on time with sufficient detail to avoid delays
• Work with the Drilling Engineer to optimize the work schedule
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to Client HSE standards.
• Carry out well completions, workovers accordance with COMPANY HSE-management system and well delivery HSE plan
• Monitor and report on completion and workover operations progress against objective and key performance indicators. Ensure, in cooperation with Senior Completion Engineer, that the wells documentation is live and up to date
• Write a detailed Completions program
• Perform Completions design using suite of software
• Make available all documentations and participate in cost recovery sessions an discussions.
• Make input to completions proposals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences
• Minimum 10 years Well Engineering experience with at least 5 years in completions
• CWI Rund 1 and Road II or equivalent trade test and IWCF
• Demonstrated success in a similar CWI positions is required
• Experience in well completions design and programming and the application of DCAF
• Good working knowledge and experience with the standard suite of well engineering software including (A) Well Cat (B) Prosper (C) EDM (D) Well Plan € Stress Check or equivalent
