Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Fixed Income & Capital Markets Specialist with strong execution and client-facing experience in the Nigerian fixed income market.
• The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of fixed income instruments, pricing, liquidity, and market dynamics, with the ability to originate, structure, and distribute fixed income products to institutional and high-net-worth clients.
• The role involves active market participation, client advisory, and revenue generation across government and corporate fixed income instruments.
• Candidates must be SEC Sponsored Individuals or eligible and willing to obtain sponsorship immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and trade FGN Bonds, T-Bills, OMO, and corporate debt instruments
• Provide market intelligence, pricing insights, and yield curve analysis
• Execute secondary market transactions and manage counterparties
• Originate and distribute fixed income products to institutional and HNI clients
• Advise clients on portfolio strategy, duration, and yield optimisation
• Support primary market issuances, auctions, and placements
• Develop market updates, investment notes, and client presentations
• Ensure full compliance with SEC, NSE, and FMDQ regulations

Requirements

• 7–10 years’ experience in Nigerian fixed income markets
• Background in banking, dealing desks, asset management, or capital markets
• Strong understanding of pricing, liquidity, and market structure
• Proven experience in client coverage and product distribution
• Strong regulatory knowledge (SEC/FMDQ/NSE)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• SEC Sponsored Individual (or eligible for sponsorship).
