Carlson Hotel, a four-star hotel located at Ikoyi, Lagos, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Location: Ikoy, Lagos

Job Summary

• Linen Processing: Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens (sheets, towels, pillowcases) and table linens according to established hotel standards.
• Stain Management: Inspecting linen for stains and applying appropriate chemical agents/techniques for removal.
• Uniform Care: Laundering, pressing, and repairing uniforms for hotel employees.
• Guest Service: Processing personal guest laundry requests, including washing, dry cleaning, pressing, and ensuring timely, accurate return to guest rooms.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operating washers, dryers, and irons safely. This includes cleaning lint screens, reporting machine malfunctions, and following safety guidelines.
• Quality Control & Repair: Inspecting items for damage and performing minor sewing or patching when necessary.
• Inventory Control: Maintaining an inventory of linen supplies, cleaning chemicals, and guest supplies (e.g., laundry bags/kits).
• Sanitation & Hygiene: Keeping the laundry room and machines clean, organized, and sanitary to prevent contamination

Core Requirements

• Physical Stamina: The ability to lift, push, and carry heavy loads of linen, and stand for long periods.
• Detail-Oriented: Ensuring high-quality cleanliness and proper sorting of different fabric types.
• Organization: Managing time effectively to keep up with the fast-paced hotel operation and daily demands.

Salary
N75,000 per month.
