We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Security Supervisor

Locations: Lagos Mainland (Gbagada, Berger, Shomolu, Oshodi, Axis) - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily activities of all security personnel and ensure proper deployment across assigned posts and locations
• Conduct routine patrols and inspections of the premises to ensure security compliance
• Monitor access control procedures for staff, visitors, and vehicles
• Maintain and review daily security logs and incident reports
• Document and escalate any security breaches or suspicious activities
• Provide regular situation updates and reports to management
• Brief security personnel at the start of each shift
• Ensure discipline, alertness, and proper conduct among security staff
• Address minor issues, conflicts, or concerns within the team
• Respond promptly to emergencies such as theft, fire, or disturbances
• Coordinate with relevant authorities where necessary
• Ensure proper documentation and follow-up on all incidents
• Monitor the functionality of security equipment such as CCTV, alarms, and communication devices
• Report faulty equipment for immediate attention
• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Identify potential risks and recommend preventive measures to safeguard personnel and assets

Requirements

• Minimum OND/NCE/degree is added advantage
• Experience in the construction industry is mandatory
• 5-10 Years of experience as a security head or similar roles.
• You must look presentable, confident and be customer service oriented.
• Physically fit with good eyesight and hearing
• No criminal record; must pass background check and police clearance
• Must be honest and have high integrity
• Alert and observant to details
• Good communication in English and local language
• Able to write simple incident reports
• Can stand/walk for 8-12 hours
• Know how to use walkie-talkie, CCTV monitor, metal detector.
• Medical fitness report from government hospital
• First aid, fire safety, or CCTV training is an advantage
• Military/paramilitary background is an advantage.
