We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Location: Akwa Ibom

Job Summary

• The Construction Superintendent shall be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing construction, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and shutdown activities across EATL project locations while ensuring compliance with project specifications, HSE requirements, quality standards, and client expectations.
• The role requires strong field leadership, execution capability, manpower coordination, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary construction activities within schedule and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site construction and fabrication activities.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, specifications, and client requirements.
• Coordinate mechanical, structural, piping, scaffolding, rigging, welding, and civil activities as applicable.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure the timely execution of activities.
• Identify execution risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure construction quality meets applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, punch-list closeouts, and client walkdowns.
• Ensure materials and consumables are fit for purpose before use.

Requirements

• HND / B.Eng. / B.Tech in: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Welding & Fabrication Technology, or related engineering discipline
• 8–12 years relevant construction experience in oil & gas, fabrication, maintenance, EPCIC, or industrial projects.
• Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
• Proven experience in: Structural fabrication, Piping installation, Welding operations, Offshore/onshore maintenance, Shutdown execution, Brownfield projects.
