Job Title: Operations Generalist

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

About the role

• We're looking for a versatile operations generalist who thrives on variety and enjoys being the connective tissue that holds our organization together.
• This isn't a role where you'll do the same thing every day—you'll move fluidly between HR, finance, administration, and operational projects, bringing order to complexity and building deep expertise across our entire operation.

What you'll do
Human Resources (25%):

• Manage recruitment processes from job posting through onboarding
• Administer employee benefits and maintain HR records
• Handle employee relations matters and serve as a point of contact for HR questions
• Maintain and update policy documentation
• Coordinate training and professional development initiatives

Finance (25%):

• Process invoices, expenses, and vendor payments
• Perform bookkeeping and monthly account reconciliation
• Track budgets and flag variances
• Prepare financial reports and support audit processes
• Manage payroll administration

Administration (25%):

• Coordinate office operations and facilities management
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
• Maintain document management systems
• Schedule meetings and manage executive calendars
• Oversee office supplies and equipment procurement

Operations (25%):

• Identify and implement process improvements across departments
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives
• Maintain operational systems and tools
• Support teams with ad-hoc requests and problem-solving
• Document procedures and create operational playbooks

What we're looking for
Required:

• 2+ years of experience in operations, administration, HR, finance, or a similar support role
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities
• Ability to context-switch between different types of work throughout the day
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with standard business software (spreadsheets, documents, email)
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities to address diverse challenges and propose solutions
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting
