Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to lead the growth of our public sector and corporate accounts portfolio.
• This role is ideal for a strong relationship builder with experience in insurance or financial services and a proven ability to win and manage high-value accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across public and private sector organizations
• Build and manage strong relationships with corporate clients, MDAs, and government agencies
• Drive adoption of Arlington’s insurance and premium finance solutions
• Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and client presentations
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and meet revenue targets
• Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings
• Provide regular pipeline and business development reports to management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
• 3–5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or insurance marketing
• Proven experience managing corporate or public sector accounts
• Strong understanding of insurance products and the Nigerian insurance market
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strong professional network within corporate or government sectors is an advantage
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially minded
• Professional insurance certifications such as CIIN or ACIIN are an added advantage.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 per month.
