We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Site IT Electrician

Location: Elele, Port Harcourt - Rivers
Industry: Oil and Gas

Job Summary 

• Are you an experienced electrical professional with strong expertise in earthing systems, voltage regulation, and industrial electrical operations?
• We are looking for a skilled Site IT Electrician to join our team and support operations across multiple project locations.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting site electrical operations, managing earthing systems, resolving voltage-related issues, and ensuring optimal performance of electrical infrastructure across various locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical earthing systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, voltage fluctuations, and grounding issues.
• Support electrical maintenance and operational activities at project sites.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure electrical safety compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on electrical issues and recommend solutions.
• Communicate effectively with HQ and site teams on operational requirements.
• Ensure minimal equipment downtime and prevent electrical damage.

Requirements

• HND or B.Sc in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of:
• Earthing and grounding systems
• Electrical wiring
• Isolation transformers
• Electrical noise and voltage regulation
• Single-phase and three-phase systems
• Generators and industrial electrical systems
• Ability to travel frequently to project locations.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or related industries is an added advantage.
