Job Title: Business Development Manager - Medical Procurement & Healthcare Infrastructure

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead revenue growth across medical procurement and healthcare infrastructure projects.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing opportunities in medical equipment supply, healthcare consumables, hospital infrastructure development, and strategic healthcare partnerships. This role requires strong business development expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive high-value B2B and B2G engagements.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in:

  • Medical equipment procurement
  • Healthcare consumables supply
  • Healthcare infrastructure projects
  • Occupational health and turnkey healthcare solutions
  • Develop and execute growth strategies across target markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, corporate organizations, OEMs, government agencies, and international suppliers
  • Lead proposal development, tender submissions, RFQs, and RFP processes
  • Negotiate pricing, partnership agreements, and vendor contracts
  • Collaborate with clinical, engineering, and operations teams for successful project delivery
  • Monitor healthcare market trends, innovations, and procurement opportunities
  • Drive strategic partnerships that position the organization as a leading healthcare solutions provider

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
  • 6–8years experience in:
    • Medical equipment sales or procurement
    • Healthcare business development
    • Hospital infrastructure or healthcare projects
    • Proven track record of closing high-value B2B or B2G deals
    • Strong understanding of healthcare procurement systems and medical equipment lifecycle
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
    • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability

Preferred Background:
Candidates with experience in:

  • Medical equipment companies
  • Healthcare infrastructure firms
  • Hospital procurement organizations
  • Donor-funded healthcare projects will have an added advantage.
