Summary

• We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of a reputable Oil & Gas servicing company.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting financial planning, and improving operational efficiency through effective financial control systems.
• The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support executive management with accurate financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
• Develop and maintain effective accounting systems, internal controls, and financial procedures
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and industry financial standards
• Coordinate external audits and support internal audit processes when required
• Monitor company budgets, cash flow, and financial performance to support business objectives
• Provide financial analysis and advisory support to management for operational and strategic decisions
• Manage proper documentation, filing systems, and financial record archiving

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• Professional certification such as ICAN, is an added advantage
• 4–6 years’ relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and compliance procedures
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
