We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Support / Project Trainee

Locations: Lekki Phase 1, and Lagos Island - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Main Duties

• Responsible for maintaining crucial documents which track project progress and review with Team Supervisor
• Assist in installing fiber optic cables in conduits or aerial location.
• Assist in troubleshooting on fiber optic networks to identify problems and provide swift resolutions.
• Installing and maintaining equipment such as fiber modem, routers, and wifi repeater.
• Locate, test and repair fiber optic cables faults to maintain existing cable network.
• Carryout technical site survey and report to Team Supervisor.
• Determining solutions to any problems and issues that are preventing the fiber optic network from performing optimally.
• Conducting regular inspections of the fiber infrastructures with the aim of locating and repairing any defects detected during the inspections.
• Support Team Supervisor to facilitate the rapid and efficient completion of the project.
• Assist to coordinate and supervise Contractors on Project implementation.
• Assist in monitoringthe progress of Project against agreed and documented time and budget targets while ensuring appropriate quality standards are maintained.
• Monitoring of data-center-to-data-center routes and equipment.
• Talk Client through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they have solved a technical issue.
• Request and stock project supplies to avoid any shortages.
• Any other Tasks assigned to you by the Management.

Personal Qualities & Qualifications
Job Holder need to be:

• Degree holder in Elect-Elect Engineering, Civil Engineering or Science from reputable higher institution.A focused, self-motivated Technical personnelwith creative flair who will bring Project Management strategies to life.
• Candidate must possess excellent customer interface, analytical and presentation skills and be able to influence internal and external organizations.
• A highly effective individual who has an absolute eye for detail and is focusedon improving business performance through exceptional Project management, reporting and evaluation.

Demand on the Job:

• Demonstrated experience in budget and financial management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, trouble-shoot, and to meet short and long-term deadlines.
• Shift work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and wiliness to work long hours and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work under none or minimal supervision.
• Excellent critical and creative thinking and analytical skills.

Salary
N200,000 monthly.
