Description
The Partnership Manager, Dedicated Banking is responsible for driving product sales, customer acquisition, and portfolio growth in line with the Bank’s strategic objectives. The role focuses on building and managing strong customer relationships, increasing deposits and revenue generation, and delivering exceptional banking solutions tailored to individual and corporate clients.
The successful candidate will play a key role in business development, relationship management, credit packaging, and customer retention while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal banking standards.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted financial advisor and advocate to clients by providing professional banking guidance and tailored financial solutions.
Handle customer enquiries efficiently and resolve complaints promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, organisations, and strategic business partners.
Collaborate with business heads to drive product sales, customer acquisition, and market penetration within identified sectors.
Build, strengthen, and leverage internal networks, strategic alliances, and partnerships to support business growth.
Promote, cross-sell, and upsell the Bank’s products and services to maximise revenue generation.
Execute marketing strategies and business development initiatives designed to improve profitability and market share.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable banking products and financial solutions to achieve sales objectives.
Achieve deposit mobilisation targets through acquisition of savings, current, and fixed deposit accounts from individuals and corporate entities.
Generate quality risk assets and manage customer portfolios in line with approved targets.
Prepare and package customers’ credit requests in compliance with the Bank’s credit policies and procedures.
Monitor customer compliance with approved credit agreements and repayment obligations.
Manage customer expectations effectively by providing accurate information regarding the Bank’s products, policies, and service capabilities.
Ensure all Know Your Customer (KYC) and regulatory compliance requirements are fully met for all customer relationships.
Develop and implement work schedules for prospecting, marketing, and acquiring new customers.
Maintain positive public relations with existing and prospective customers to strengthen the Bank’s brand image.
Prepare and submit reports on marketing activities, business development initiatives, and unit performance.
Monitor unit performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
Deliver excellent customer service and retention strategies to strengthen long-term client relationships.
Achieve agreed performance targets relating to deposit growth, revenue generation, product sales, and client acquisition.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Growth in customer portfolio volume and value.
Deposit mobilisation and revenue generation performance.
Cross-selling and product penetration rates.
Customer satisfaction and retention levels.
Profitability and portfolio quality performance.
Achievement of individual and unit sales targets.
Accuracy, quality, and timeliness of reporting.
Compliance with internal policies, KYC, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
A postgraduate qualification or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 4 years’ banking experience in sales, relationship management, or credit-related functions.
Good knowledge of Accounting, Financial Analysis, Banking Operations, Business Law, Trade Services, Leasing, and financial advisory services.
Strong understanding of banking regulations, credit risk assessment, and credit analysis processes.
Proven relationship management and networking capabilities.
Excellent business writing and presentation skills.
Good understanding of economic trends and their impact on the banking and finance sector.

N1,000,000 - N3,000,000 monthly.
