We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Store / Procurement Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• ‎Stock Monitoring & Control: Track movement, reconcile physical counts with database records, and identify discrepancies.
• ‎Receiving & Inspection: Inspect incoming goods for quantity and quality against purchase orders.
• ‎Record Keeping: Update inventory software (e.g., ERP systems) and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation.
• ‎Warehouse Management: Organize stock efficiently, ensuring safe storage and implementing security measures to prevent damage or theft.
• ‎Reporting: Generate daily/monthly reports on inventory levels, turnover, and aging items.

Duties

• Strategic Sourcing: Developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet business goals.
• Negotiation: Negotiating favorable terms, prices, and contracts with vendors.
• Supplier Management: Evaluating vendor performance, maintaining relationships, and managing supplier risk.
• Cost Control: Analyzing spending to identify cost-saving opportunities and budgeting.
• Process Improvement: Streamlining purchasing processes, including implementing software and purchase order systems.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards.
• Collaboration: Working with internal departments (Finance, Operations) to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• ‎Experience: Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
• ‎Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems.
• ‎Attention to Detail: Highly organized with strong accuracy in numerical tracking.
• ‎Communication: Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate with suppliers and staff.
• ‎Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials if required
