The Digital Marketing Lead will be responsible for owning and driving Taeillo’s digital marketing strategy across all channels. This is a growth-focused, revenue-driven role — not a content scheduling position.
The ideal candidate thinks in data, moves fast, and knows how to turn digital touchpoints into sales.
They will lead Taeillo’s online marketing efforts, manage the Social Media Associate, and work closely with the CEO and sales team to grow our customer base, increase online revenue, and strengthen the Taeillo brand across Nigeria, Kenya, and beyond.
Job Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Growth:
Develop and execute Taeillo’s end-to-end digital marketing strategy across SEO, SEM, email, paid social, and display advertising.
Own the digital marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns are planned, executed, and reviewed on time.
Identify and pursue new digital growth opportunities including influencer partnerships, affiliate marketing, and emerging platforms.
Drive e-commerce growth by continuously optimising the customer journey from first click through to purchase on taeillo.com.
Performance Marketing:
Plan, manage, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google, and TikTok with a clear focus on ROAS and customer acquisition cost (CAC).
Set campaign budgets, monitor daily spend, and adjust targeting and creative to maximise performance.
Run A/B tests on ad creatives, landing pages, and audience segments to continuously improve results.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track, analyse, and report on all digital marketing KPIs weekly — including website traffic, conversion rate, CAC, ROAS, and revenue attribution.
Use data to drive decisions and present clear insights and recommendations to the CEO.
Maintain a strong understanding of the customer funnel and identify drop-off points for improvement.
Email & CRM Marketing:
Build and manage Taeillo’s email and SMS marketing programme — from list growth and segmentation to automated flows and promotional campaigns.
Develop retention strategies to increase repeat purchases and customer lifetime value.
Team & Brand Leadership:
Lead and manage the Social Media Associate, providing direction, feedback, and support to ensure content aligns with the broader marketing strategy.
Collaborate with the product and design teams to ensure all campaigns accurately reflect the Taeillo brand identity, tone of voice, and aesthetic.
Brief creatives effectively and review all digital marketing materials before publication.
Stay ahead of trends in the African e-commerce, lifestyle, and furniture space and proactively bring ideas to the table.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
Proven track record of planning and running paid campaigns on Meta Ads and Google Ads with measurable results.
Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics and how digital marketing drives online revenue.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Klaviyo or Mailchimp, and Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
A strategic thinker who is equally comfortable getting into the details and executing.
Excellent written communication skills with an ability to understand and protect brand voice.
Experience in a lifestyle, fashion, consumer goods, or e-commerce brand is a strong advantage.
Pan-African market experience or awareness is a plus.
