Ascentech Services Limited - Our client, a reputable Freight Forwarding and Logistics company located along Oshodi–Apapa Expressway, Lagos, is recruiting for immediate employment, qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Trailer Driver

Location: Oshodi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The ideal candidates must be experienced in operating articulated trucks (30 tons and above) and must possess a valid Class G driver’s license.
• We are also recruiting drivers experienced in driving Artego / 20-ton trucks. Successful candidates must be safety-conscious, responsible, and knowledgeable about Lagos roads and transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned trucks and articulated vehicles to transport goods efficiently
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips
• Ensure proper handling and secure transportation of cargo
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws, road safety, and company policies
• Maintain accurate trip and delivery records
• Report vehicle faults, accidents, or delays promptly
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations
• Maintain cleanliness and basic care of assigned vehicles
• Follow dispatch instructions and route schedules effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–5 years proven driving experience
• Valid Driver’s License: Class G — Trailer Drivers, Class D — Other Truck Drivers
• Experience driving articulated trucks (30 tons and above) is mandatory for trailer drivers
• Experience driving Artego / 20-ton trucks is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions
• Must be punctual, responsible, and safety conscious
• Physically fit and capable of handling long-distance trips when required
• Candidates residing around Oshodi, Apapa, Mile 2, Orile, Amuwo Odofin, Iyana Isolo, Ejigbo, Ago Palace, Festac, and surrounding areas are strongly encouraged to apply.

Salary
N75,000 – N90,000 Monthly + Daily Trip Allowance.
