Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to oversee operational coordination, resource optimization, and workflow efficiency across multiple technical and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by bridging the gap between technical field teams and administrative support units. This role requires strong logistics coordination, operational planning, vendor management, and asset supervision capabilities to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and without downtime.
The Operations Manager will also oversee fleet deployment, project readiness, procurement coordination, and operational compliance while maintaining high standards of execution across all sites and operational activities.
Job Scope
The Operations Manager will be responsible for improving operational fluidity, optimizing internal processes, and ensuring resources are efficiently allocated to support seamless project execution.
The successful candidate will be expected to actively monitor operations, conduct site visits, identify bottlenecks, and implement systems that improve speed, accuracy, accountability, and execution quality across projects and operational activities.
This role focuses heavily on:

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance
Process improvement and operational efficiency
Responsibilities
Workflow & Process Optimization
Analyze and improve operational workflows connecting Sales, Inventory, Procurement, and Installation teams
Ensure rapid movement from project confirmation to execution and completion
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective measures
Develop systems that improve operational efficiency and turnaround time
Resource Allocation & Coordination:
Ensure field teams are adequately equipped for project execution
Coordinate deployment of technical staff, support teams, vehicles, and operational resources
Monitor resource availability to avoid project delays or downtime
Ensure operational readiness before project commencement
Fleet & Asset Management:
Supervise company vehicles, technical tools, and operational equipment
Monitor fleet usage, maintenance schedules, servicing, and deployment efficiency
Track asset utilization and reduce operational downtime
Ensure proper handling and accountability for company assets
Logistics & Supply Chain Oversight:
Coordinate procurement timelines with internal administrative teams and vendors
Ensure timely sourcing and delivery of project-critical materials
Monitor inventory movement and operational supply requirements
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers
Health, Safety & Compliance (HSE):
Ensure all project sites comply with safety regulations and operational standards
Enforce the proper use of PPE and safety procedures by field teams
Conduct operational and safety inspections across project locations
Ensure incidents, risks, and operational concerns are properly documented and addressed
Team Coordination & Operational Support:
Work closely with technical teams, drivers, installers, and administrative staff
Support operational planning and scheduling across multiple project locations
Ensure communication and coordination between departments remain seamless
Provide operational reports and updates to management
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
5–7 years of experience in operations, logistics, or project coordination roles
Proven experience managing operational processes and field coordination
Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Fleet Management Systems
Project Coordination & Tracking Tools
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Procedures
Operational Workflow Management
Resource Planning & Allocation
Experience supervising operational teams, assets, or logistics functions is an added advantage.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 per month.
