We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cook

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilties
Food Preparation & Cooking:

• Prepare, cook, and plate meals according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure all dishes are made promptly and meet the lounge’s quality expectations.
• Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation for every order.
• Assist in developing new menu items or specials when required.

Kitchen Operations:

• Ensure all ingredients are properly washed, cut, and prepared before cooking.
• Follow daily prep lists and ensure readiness before service hours.
• Monitor cooking processes to avoid waste, overcooking, or undercooking.
• Maintain clear communication with waiters, bar staff, and other kitchen team members.

Hygiene & Safety:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
• Adhere strictly to food hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of food items.
• Regularly check the freshness and quality of ingredients.

Stock & Inventory Management:

• Monitor ingredient usage and report shortages or low stock levels.
• Assist in receiving and checking food supplies for quality and accuracy.
• Reduce waste by ensuring proper portion control and rotation of stock (FIFO method).

Teamwork & Professionalism:

• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak periods.
• Follow instructions from the Head Chef or Lounge Manager.
• Uphold the lounge’s brand image through neat appearance, punctuality, and professionalism.

Salary
N80,000 monthly.
