Job Title: FFS Vertical & Horizontal Machine Operator

Job Summary

• The FFS Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining vertical and horizontal form-fill-seal packaging machines to ensure efficient packing of products according to quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate vertical and horizontal FFS packing machines safely and efficiently.
• Set machine parameters such as temperature, speed, sealing pressure, cutting length, and filling quantity.
• Monitor machine performance during operation.
• Ensure proper sealing, pouch formation, coding, and packing quality.
• Load and change packaging film rolls correctly.
• Adjust machine settings to minimize wastage and downtime.
• Check product weight and seal integrity regularly.
• Remove defective packs and report quality issues.
• Maintain production targets and packing efficiency.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for minor machine faults.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team during breakdowns.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the machine and work area.
• Record production output, downtime, rejection, and maintenance activities.
• Follow GMP, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times.

Machine Handling Responsibilities:

• Vertical FFS Machine
• Operate sachet/pillow pouch packing systems.
• Monitor film tracking and sealing alignment.
• Ensure accurate product filling and proper pouch cutting.

Horizontal FFS Machine:

• Operate flow wrap or horizontal pouch packing systems.
• Ensure correct product feeding and wrapping.
• Maintain proper sealing and coding quality.
