A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Administrator at Siemens Energy, you will play a vital supporting role in the successful delivery of high‑voltage EPC energy infrastructure projects, grid access solutions.
Working closely with Project Managers, Project Controls, and cross‑functional teams, you will support and coordinate critical administrative, documentation, and reporting activities that underpin safe, compliant, and efficient project execution.
Your day‑to‑day activities will include supporting project planning and reporting, maintaining project documentation and records, coordinating meetings and communications, and assisting with commercial and financial administration.
Through strong organization, attention to detail, and proactive coordination, you will help ensure projects are executed in line with technical, contractual, quality, and EHS requirements.
This role is based in the Siemens Energy Grid Technologies office in Abudja, Nigeria, supporting the delivery of high‑voltage energy projects across the region.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Provide comprehensive administrative support to Project Managers and project teams across all phases of HV project delivery.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project documentation, including correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, registers, and controlled documents in line with company and customer requirements
Assist with the preparation, updating, and distribution of project schedules, progress reports, KPIs, and dashboards to support effective project monitoring and decision‑making.
Contribute to lessons‑learned, process improvements, and standardization of project administrative practices.
Process project-related purchase orders and invoices in a timely manner according to established procedures.
Assist in tracking project expenses and comparing them against the budget, flagging discrepancies for review.
Support the preparation of documentation required for project billing and financial reconciliation.
Serve as a point of contact for basic internal inquiries, directing complex questions to the appropriate project manager.
What You Bring
Alternatively, an Associate's Degree combined with relevant administrative experience will be considered.
0-2 years of experience in a project support, PMO, or administrative role within a corporate environment.
Basic understanding of project management principles, schedules, cost tracking, and document control.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project management or document control systems is a plus.
A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional, multi‑disciplinary project environment.
