Job Title: Crane Operator

Location: Ngaski LGA, Kebbi
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our operations team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cranes and lifting equipment efficiently and safely to support daily operational activities.
• The successful candidate must have strong technical competence, attention to safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mobile, tower, or overhead cranes safely and efficiently
• Lift, move, position, and place materials, equipment, and heavy loads as required
• Conduct daily equipment inspections before operations
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and operational procedures
• Communicate effectively with riggers, supervisors, and site personnel during lifting operations
• Monitor crane performance and promptly report faults or maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate operational and safety records
• Ensure proper load balance and lifting capacity compliance
• Support general site operations where necessary

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE/OND or related qualification (Trade Test, Apprenticeship Certificate).
• Valid Crane Operator certification or license is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience operating cranes in construction, mining, manufacturing, shiping yardor industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of crane safety procedures and lifting operations.
• Ability to interpret load charts and operational instructions.
• Good physical fitness and coordination.
• Strong eye-hand coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
