Job Title: IT Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The IT Officer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and monitoring uptime of digital banking platforms to ensure efficient operations, system security, and uninterrupted electronic banking services.
• The role also involves providing technical support, monitoring system performance, and ensuring compliance with IT and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure and systems.
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and network connectivity.
• Provide technical support to staff and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
• Support setup for digital banking channels including mobile banking, USSD, internet banking, and related platforms.
• Ensure data security, system backup, and business continuity processes.
• Monitor and escalate suspicious IT and cybersecurity incidents.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
• Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new technologies.
• Liaise with vendors and service providers on IT-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare periodic IT support and system performance reports.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
• 2 - 3 years’ experience in IT support or banking technology operations.
• Basic knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and digital banking platforms.
• Experience with core banking applications is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and support occasional after-hours operations.
