Job Title: Part-Time Mobile App Developer and UI / UX Design Trainer

Description

• We seek a Part-Time Mobile App Development Trainer to deliver hands-on training sessions and mentor students in developing Android and/or iOS applications.
• The ideal candidate should have expertise in mobile development using Java, Kotlin, Swift, or cross-platform frameworks like Flutter and React Native.
• The role requires a passion for teaching, guiding students through real-world projects, and ensuring they gain practical experience in designing, developing, and deploying mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interactive and hands-on training in Android (Java/Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift, Objective-C) development.
• Assist students in building real-world mobile applications.
• Guide students in Android Studio, Xcode, Jetpack libraries, Firebase, and other essential tools.
• Teach UI/UX design principles, API integration, database management, and app deployment.
• Assist students in building real-world mobile applications.
• Conduct live coding sessions, debugging workshops, and troubleshooting exercises.
• Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, coding exercises, and assessments.
• Stay updated with emerging mobile development trends, frameworks, and best practices.
• Provide feedback on student projects and track their progress.
• Work closely with other trainers, developers, and industry professionals to enhance training quality.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years professional experience in mobile application development and UI/UX design.
• Previous teaching or training experience is an advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Dart) and mobile development frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native). Expertise in UI/UX design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch).
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your mobile app development and UI/UX design projects.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply and engagingly.
• Passion for Teaching: A genuine interest in helping students learn and grow, with a patient and approachable demeanor.
• Applicant must be at least 30 years old and must reside in Abuja.
