Design digital assets: website graphics, social media posts (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook), email newsletters, digital ads, and presentations (PowerPoint/Canva/Google Slides).
Produce environmental graphics: signage, wayfinding, exhibition stands, pull up banners, and campus interior displays.
Edit and retouch photographs; source or create illustrations, icons, and infographics.
Collaboration & Project Management:
Work closely with the Marketing, Academic Affairs, and Student Affairs teams to translate their content into compelling visuals.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from brief to final delivery, meeting tight deadlines (e.g., accreditation documents, admission cycles).
Liaise with external printers, sign makers, and vendors to ensure high-quality production within budget.
Digital & Multimedia Support:
Assist in basic video editing (e.g., short promotional clips for social media) and animation (motion graphics) when required.
Ensure all designs are optimised for web and mobile (file size, resolution, accessibility).
Brand Compliance
Review all departmental materials to ensure visual consistency and brand integrity.
Maintain an organised digital asset library (logos, photos, templates) accessible to authorised staff.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Communication Design, or a closely related field.
Minimum of 2–5 years of professional graphic design experience in a corporate, agency, or institutional setting (experience in education, publishing, or non-profit sectors is a strong plus).
A strong portfolio demonstrating:
Brand identity projects
Print and digital collateral
Typography and layout skills
Understanding of colour theory and composition
Proven proficiency in industry-standard software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and optionally Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects.
Experience preparing print-ready files and liaising with commercial printers.
