A4&T was conceived in the year 2009 with the mindset of providing affordable Solar power solutions to the citizens of Nigeria. It was formed with a goal to replace generators even the smallest electricity generator (a.k.a “I beta pass my neighbour”) with Solar Power.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer - Electric Mobility

Location: Yola, Adamawa

Job Summary

  • A leading renewable energy company is seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Business Development Officer - Electric Mobility to support the expansion of its electric mobility operations.
  • The ideal candidate will drive customer acquisition, fleet onboarding, market expansion, and revenue growth for the company’s electric mobility solutions, including EV tricycles, electric bikes, and battery swap services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for electric mobility solutions across target markets.
  • Drive customer acquisition through direct sales, fleet partnerships, agent networks, and engagement with riders, logistics operators, and transport unions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with aggregators, fleet operators, logistics companies, rider associations, financial institutions, and local partners.
  • Conduct market mapping and demand assessments to identify high-potential locations for EV deployment and battery swap stations.
  • Promote EV products, lease-to-own / payback models, and battery swap solutions to prospective customers and partners.
  • Prepare sales proposals, financing plans, quotations, and product presentations for individual and fleet clients.
  • Support the onboarding, training, and performance management of riders, agents, and field partners.
  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth vehicle deployment, battery availability, swap station efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Track sales performance, lease repayments, swap station usage, and customer feedback, and prepare regular reports.
  • Represent the company at transport hubs, community engagements, roadshows, and industry events.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, financing terms, and relevant regulatory guidelines.

KPI

  • Number of new customers and fleet partner’s on boarded.
  • Revenue growth and sales target achievement.
  • Lease repayment performance and portfolio quality.
  • Battery swap station utilization rates.
  • Customer retention and satisfaction levels.
  • Number of active partnerships and market expansion initiatives executed.

Educational Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Transport Management, Logistics, Renewable Energy, Engineering, or any related field.
  • Additional certifications in Sales, Business Development, Customer Relationship Management, or Mobility Operations will be an added advantage.
