About the Role

• On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive Treasury Manager to oversee and optimize treasury operations within a fast-paced fintech environment.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing liquidity, cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, settlement operations, and financial risk management while ensuring operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• This role requires a strong understanding of fintech operations, digital payment ecosystems, and financial management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, liquidity management, and fund allocation.
• Monitor and optimize cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity across business operations.
• Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts and financial reports.
• Oversee payment settlements, reconciliations, and transaction monitoring across multiple financial channels.
• Maintain and manage relationships with banks, payment partners, and financial institutions.
• Ensure timely processing of vendor payments, partner settlements, and operational disbursements.
• Monitor foreign exchange exposure, investment opportunities, and treasury-related risks.
• Develop and implement treasury policies, controls, and procedures to improve efficiency and minimize risk exposure.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, compliance, and product teams to support business growth and financial stability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and financial governance standards.
• Support audit processes by providing treasury-related documentation and reports.
• Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management on liquidity optimization and capital management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
• 3 - 6 years of relevant treasury, finance, or cash management experience within the fintech, banking, or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of treasury management, liquidity planning, payment systems, and fintech operations.
• Experience managing banking relationships and settlement processes.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, cash forecasting, and treasury reporting.
• Sound knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and treasury/ERP systems.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or ACT will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in a high-growth fintech environment.
• Understanding of digital payments, switching, wallets, and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and operational accuracy.
