Position Overview

• A high-standard home is seeking a highly experienced, mature, and detail-oriented Male Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness, organization, and general maintenance of both indoor and outdoor areas of the residence.
• The ideal candidate must possess strong housekeeping experience alongside practical knowledge of gardening, swimming pool maintenance, outdoor upkeep, cleaning chemicals, cleaning machinery, and proper care of various flooring and surface finishes.
• The successful candidate must be trustworthy, discreet, proactive, and capable of maintaining luxury residential standards with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Interior Cleaning:

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the residence
• Daily cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, dining spaces, staircases, and shared spaces
• Conduct routine deep cleaning of the property, including walls, ceilings, windows, furniture, fittings, and hard-to-reach areas
• Vacuum, mop, scrub, polish, and sanitize surfaces appropriately
• Ensure all household spaces remain organized, neat, and guest-ready at all times

Floor & Surface Care:

• Proper cleaning and maintenance of different floor finishes including:
• Marble floors
• Tiles
• Granite
• Wooden floors
• Outdoor paving stones
• Knowledge of correct chemicals and cleaning methods for various surfaces to avoid damage or discoloration
• Operate polishing machines, vacuum systems, pressure washers, and floor scrubbing equipment where necessary
• Carry out periodic floor polishing and stain removal procedures

Laundry & Wardrobe Management:

• Wash, iron, steam, fold, and properly organize clothing and household linen
• Handle delicate fabrics, premium garments, and household materials with care
• Maintain proper wardrobe arrangement and storage systems

Swimming Pool Maintenance:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the swimming pool and surrounding areas
• Monitor pool water condition and chemical balance
• Proper use and handling of pool chemicals including chlorine and treatment products
• Clean pool filters, pumps, and related equipment
• Ensure poolside areas remain neat, safe, and well-maintained at all times

Gardening & Outdoor Maintenance:

• Maintain lawns, flowers, shrubs, and decorative plants within the compound
• Water plants appropriately and monitor plant health
• Sweep and maintain outdoor surroundings, walkways, driveways, and recreational areas
• Assist with trimming, pruning, weeding, and general landscape upkeep
• Ensure outdoor furniture and exterior surfaces remain clean and presentable

Cleaning Chemicals & Equipment Handling:

• Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, their uses, dilution ratios, and safety procedures
• Safe handling and storage of industrial and household cleaning products
• Knowledge of operating cleaning machinery and maintenance tools
• Ability to identify the correct products for various cleaning tasks and surfaces

Property Maintenance Support:

• Promptly report maintenance issues, damages, or repair needs within the property
• Monitor general condition of household equipment and facilities
• Assist with supervising artisans or technicians when required
• Ensure all utility and service areas remain clean and functional

Security, Conduct & Confidentiality:

• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding household activities and private information
• Display professionalism, discipline, and respect at all times
• Ensure proper care and security of household property and equipment
• Be trustworthy, discreet, and capable of working in a private high-profile environment

Requirements

• 3–5 years proven experience in a high-standard household, executive residence, hotel, or luxury property

Practical experience in:

• Housekeeping
• Swimming pool maintenance
• Gardening
• Outdoor facility management
• Deep cleaning operations
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals and cleaning machinery
• Good understanding of luxury floor and surface maintenance
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physically fit and capable of handling demanding cleaning duties
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Professional appearance and conduct
