Job Summary
The Business Development & Medical Sales Representativeis responsible for driving revenue growth through stockist acquisition, account management, medical detailing, healthcare partnership development, and direct-to-consumer sales support.
A commercially driven professional with experience in pharmaceutical sales, clinical skincare, healthcare business development, or medical detailing who can grow our stockist network and expand market penetration.
The role focuses on expanding market penetration for the company's portfolio of clinical skincare products by building strategic relationships with pharmacies, dermatologists, aesthetic clinics, medspas, wellness centres, beauty retailers, distributors, and other healthcare stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Stockist Aquisition and Revenue Growth:
Identify, onboard, and grow relationships with pharmacies, clinics, medspas, aesthetic centres, distributors, and retail partners.
Drive territory expansion and increase product availability across key channels.
Conduct account reviews and ensure consistent stock replenishment and reorder activity.
Medical Detailing & Professional Engagement:
Conduct educational and detailing visits to dermatologists, pharmacists, aesthetic practitioners, and healthcare professionals.
Deliver evidence-based product presentations and support product adoption among healthcare stakeholders.
Product Education and Training:
Maintain expert knowledge of the product portfolio, ingredients, formulations, and clinical applications.
Train stockists, pharmacists, clinic teams, aestheticians, and retail personnel on product recommendations and usage protocols.
Sales Performance and Business Development:
Achieve sales and growth targets across assigned territories.
Monitor account performance, sales trends, and market opportunities.
Identify new business opportunities that contribute to revenue growth.
Brand Visibility and Promotional Execution:
Ensure strong product visibility and merchandising across partner locations.
Support activations, product launches, promotional campaigns, exhibitions, and industry events.
Partnerships, Contract Manuafacturing and Private Label Development:
Identify and develop strategic partnerships with clinics, medspas, entrepreneurs, and businesses interested in private label or contract manufacturing solutions.
Support the growth of the company's B2B manufacturing and partnership portfolio.
E-Commerce and Customer Experience Support:
Support online sales operations, order fulfilment, customer enquiries, and overall customer experience initiatives.
Work with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, Public Health, Biological Sciences, or a related health or life science discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical detailing, skincare sales, healthcare business development, aesthetics, wellness, or related industries.
Strong understanding of skincare products, active ingredients, formulations, and skin concerns.
Proven ability to build relationships, acquire new accounts, and achieve sales targets.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Strong commercial awareness and business development capability.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
Willingness to travel as required.
Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 per month.
