All On is an independent, Nigerian registered not-for-profit impact investor dedicated to expanding access to commercial energy products and services in underserved and unserved off grid markets across Nigeria, with a special focus on the Niger Delta region. Founded in 2016 with support from Shell, All On works with partners to scale sustainable energy solutions, foster an enabling environment, and deliver positive social and economic impact.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources Intern

Location: Lagos
Duration: 6 months

About the Internship

  • This internship offers a structured learning opportunity for individuals seeking practical exposure to Human Resources Management within the renewable energy sector. The programme is designed to provide hands‑on learning and professional development through participation in HR activities at All On.
  • The HR Intern will observe, learn from, and support the HR Unit in carrying out routine HR processes, while developing practical knowledge and workplace skills in people operations and organisational development.
  • This internship is best suited for individuals who are eager to learn, proactive, detail‑oriented, and interested in a career in Human Resources.

What you will learn and support
Under the guidance and supervision of the HR Unit, the Intern will support activities as part of their learning in the following areas:
Recruitment & Selection Support"

  • Support the recruitment process by assisting with candidate sourcing and tracking.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating assessment activities.
  • Support communication with candidates regarding interview outcomes.
  • Help maintain recruitment records, candidate databases, and trackers.

Onboarding & Offboarding Support:

  • Assist with onboarding activities, including scheduling induction and onboarding sessions for new hires.
  • Support the preparation and allocation of work tools for new hires.
  • Assist with offboarding processes, including retrieval of work tools, scheduling exit interviews, and completing exit documentation.

HR Administration:

  • Assist in requesting reference numbers for official HR correspondence.
  • Support the preparation of HR documents such as letters, memos, reports, and internal communications.
  • Assist with the organisation and maintenance of non-confidential HR records and documentation.

Training & Development:

  • Support the planning and coordination of internal training sessions, workshops, and learning programmes.
  • Assist with tracking participation and maintaining training and development records.

Employee Engagement & Welfare Support:

  • Support the implementation of employee engagement activities.
  • Assist with coordinating staff events, internal activities, and celebrations.

Performance & Policy Implementation:

  • Support with the administration of the Company’s performance management processes.
  • Assist to drive the implementation of HR policies and processes.

Payroll Support (Administrative):

  • Assist with maintaining records of new joiners start dates, and staff exit dates, for monthly payroll preparation purposes.

General HR Support:

  • Provide support on other HR‑related tasks as may be reasonably required for learning purposes.

What we need from you

  • A recent graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to handle information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
