Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to support our business growth initiatives.
• The successful candidate will assist in identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, maintaining client relationships, conducting market research, and supporting the sales and business development team in achieving organizational goals.
• This role provides valuable hands-on experience in sales, client engagement, market analysis, and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and generating new business opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitors.
• Support lead generation activities through calls, emails, social media, and networking.
• Maintain and update client and prospect databases.
• Assist in preparing business proposals, presentations, and reports.
• Schedule meetings and follow up with prospective clients.
• Support the business development team in achieving sales and revenue targets.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND, B.Sc.
• Strong interest in sales, marketing, and business development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Number of leads generated.
• Number of client meetings scheduled.
• Conversion of prospects to qualified leads.
• Accuracy and timeliness of reports.
• Contribution to business growth initiatives.
