They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Role

  • Our client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join its team.
  • This is a mid-level, full-time role for someone who understands the professional services landscape in Nigeria and is ready to own our growth pipeline.
  • You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and converting new client opportunities across our core service areas: HR consulting, recruitment, and advisory services.

What You Will Do

  • Own and manage the business development pipeline from prospecting to close.
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities across SMEs, corporates, NGOs, and government organisations.
  • Represent Salve Consulting at networking events, industry forums, and professional associations.
  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals and pitches in collaboration with the leadership team.
  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers — CEOs, HR leads, and senior management.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM record of all leads, meetings, and deal progress.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth client onboarding after deals are closed.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to inform service development and positioning.

What We Are Looking For
Required:

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisitionpreferably in professional or B2B services.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and close deals with senior decision-makers.
  • Understanding of HR consulting, recruitment, or people management services is a strong advantage.
  • Existing network in at least one of our core sectors: SMEs, corporates, NGOs, or government.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with targets and being measured on revenue outcomes.
  • Proficiency in basic CRM or pipeline tracking tools.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience selling HR or consulting services.
  • Familiarity with the Lagos SME or NGO landscape.
  • Active presence and network on LinkedIn.
  • Experience developing proposals or capabilities presentations.
