Job Title: Graphics Designer & Video Editor
Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract
About the Role
We are looking for a talented, detail-driven Graphics Designer & Video Editor to own visual production across our brand, marketing, and learning platforms.
This role sits at the intersection of creative design and educational content — where every asset you produce either builds our brand or improves how our students learn.
You will design marketing creatives, produce short-form and long-form video content, build learning materials for our LMS, and maintain visual consistency across every touchpoint.
From social media graphics to live class slides to edited webinar clips — this is your canvas.
You will not just execute briefs.
You will own creative quality, design with purpose, and ensure every visual we put out — whether it is a carousel, a course thumbnail, or a class presentation — reflects the standard our students and audience expect.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Marketing Design:
You own the visual output that represents UstackSchool to the world.
Design brand-aligned visuals for social media, ads, landing pages, email campaigns, and presentations.
Create marketing creatives including banners, thumbnails, carousels, posters, and promotional assets.
Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, design templates, and visual systems across all platforms.
Ensure visual consistency and quality across every customer-facing touchpoint.
Design across Canva (advanced) and Adobe Photoshop, delivering polished, on-brand outputs independently.
Graphic Design & Visual Ownership:
You are the owner of everything visual — from social posts to reports to educational resources.
Own the end-to-end design of graphics, images, documents, books, free learning materials, curriculum assets, and monthly and annual reports.
Design and maintain visually engaging layouts for books, guides, workbooks, curricula, and educational resources.
Create branded documents and reports that communicate insights clearly and professionally.
Develop and maintain templates, design systems, and brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all materials.
Translate content, data, and learning objectives into clear, accessible, and engaging visual formats.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and deliver reliably on deadlines.
Learning Experience & LMS Creatives:
This is a core part of the role. Your designs directly shape how students experience our programmes.
Design creatives for live classes, webinars, workshops, and practical learning sessions hosted on our LMS.
Create class cover images, session banners, module thumbnails, and learner-facing visual assets.
Design slides, workbooks, worksheets, and practical exercise templates for instructors and learners.
Create countdown slides, holding screens, and session open and close visuals for live classes.
Design certificates, completion badges, and learner progress visuals.
Support instructors with branded presentation templates and visual aids.
Ensure all learning creatives are clear, accessible, and easy to understand at a glance.
Video Editing & Motion Design:
You produce polished video content across marketing, social, and education channels.
Edit short-form videos for social media, ads, and course promotion using Premiere Pro, CapCut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects.
Create video assets for webinars, workshops, and recorded learning sessions.
Add captions, lower thirds, transitions, animations, and brand elements to all video outputs.
Repurpose long-form learning content into short, engaging clips for marketing and LMS previews.
Optimise video outputs for multiple platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and the LMS.
Maintain organised video files, design assets, and an accessible media archive.
Pre-Production & Creative Planning:
Great output starts with great planning. You are involved from concept to delivery.
Collaborate with content, marketing, curriculum, and education teams to conceptualise video and visual projects.
Develop scripts, storyboards, and visual briefs to align creative direction before production begins.
Design visual elements, layouts, and motion graphic concepts to complement planned video content.
Plan shoots, including location considerations, scheduling, and equipment requirements.
Quality Control & Delivery:
You take responsibility for the quality of every file that leaves your hands.
Review and revise all visual and video outputs based on feedback from educators, marketers, and learners.
Ensure all designs meet brand standards, readability, accessibility, and usability best practices.
Maintain organised file structures, named assets, and a clean media archive for easy team access.
Iterate quickly, communicate progress clearly, and deliver on agreed timelines without prompting.

Engaging and professional visuals for every live class, webinar, and workshop
Improved learner engagement and clarity through strong instructional design
Short-form video content that performs well across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
A growing library of reusable templates, brand assets, and design systems
