Agro Preciso Limited is a Nigerian social impact agri-business and engineering consultancy, incorporated in 2020 (RC 1695344) and headquartered in Abuja. We operate at the intersection of sustainable agriculture, environmental stewardship, and rural infrastructure development. Our service portfolio spans large-scale irrigation system design and installation, land reclamation, environmental and social impact assessments (ESIAs), agricultural equipment supply, rural road construction, pest management, and community training programmes.

We have successfully delivered projects under World Bank safeguards (ACReSAL) as well as for national bodies such as the National Council on Climate Change (NICCRRA) and various state governments across Nigeria. As we scale our operations nationwide and into broader African markets, we seek a Finance & Accounts Manager to own, strengthen, and lead our financial management function with integrity, precision, and strategic insight.

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly competent and proactive Accounts Officer to join our Finance & Accounts Team.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting expertise, sound financial management skills, and the ability to contribute effectively to the Company's financial and operational objectives.
• This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of four (4) years of experience and demonstrated capacity to manage and coordinate financial activities across multiple accounts with a high level of professionalism and efficiency.
• The successful candidate will play a critical role in strengthening financial governance, supporting business growth, and ensuring regulatory compliance within a dynamic, project-driven agribusiness environment.
• This position demands strong analytical capability, commercial awareness, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in leveraging modern financial tools is essential to enhance reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing periodic financial and management reports.
• Processing financial transactions and reconciliations.
• Maintain knowledge of BPP financial requirements for government contracts.
• Prepare financial documentation for fundraising rounds, grant applications, and investor due diligence.
• Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitoring cash flow and treasury operations.
• Ensuring compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting internal and external audit exercises.
• Implementing and maintaining strong internal control processes.
• Assisting management with financial analysis and decision-support reporting.

Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) to four (4) years of relevant professional experience.
• Professional accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA, ACA, ATS) will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-entity or project-based financial operations.
• Knowledge of contract-based financial management and procurement processes.
• Familiarity with World Bank, AfDB, or similar donor compliance frameworks (desirable).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
