Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supplier relationship management.
• The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the flow of goods, materials, and information across the supply chain to ensure operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely product availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to support business objectives
• Oversee procurement activities, supplier sourcing, evaluation, and contract negotiations
• Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing carrying costs
• Coordinate logistics, transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations
• Monitor supply chain performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and products
• Develop and enforce supply chain policies, procedures, and best practices
• Prepare and analyze supply chain reports, forecasts, and key performance indicators
• Collaborate with sales, finance, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure seamless business operations
• Lead, mentor, and supervise supply chain and procurement personnel

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related functions
• Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, procurement processes, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics
• Proven experience in supplier management and contract negotiation
• Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in a trading or distribution company is an added advantage.
