Position Summary

• The Head of Strategy will drive corporate strategy, growth initiatives, and the transaction pipeline across oil & gas, real estate, and other investment opportunities.
• This mid–senior role is ideal for a hands-on, strategic thinker rather than a top-tier executive with decades of experience. The role is central to:
  • Shaping the organisation’s growth trajectory
  • Evaluating and executing asset acquisition opportunities
  • Translating shareholders’ vision into actionable plans and performance targets.

Professional Background:

• The ideal candidate is a commercially focused strategy professional with hands-on experience in corporate strategy, investment analysis, and transaction execution across oil & gas, real estate, and other sectors.
• The role involves driving growth initiatives, evaluating asset opportunities, and translating shareholder vision into actionable plans, working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Master’s degree and/or professional qualification (MBA, CFA, ACA) is a strong advantage.

Experience:

• 7–12 years of professional experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, or business development.
• Proven experience in financial modelling, valuation, due diligence support, and investment/transaction analysis.
• Demonstrated career progression in strategy, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, private equity, or commercial planning roles.
• Exposure to oil & gas, infrastructure, or real estate transactions is highly desirable.
• Track record of working in lean, entrepreneurial environments.
