We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• A pharmacy technician works alongside licensed pharmacists to dispense prescription medications, manage inventory, and assist patients. They handle the practical and administrative aspects of the pharmacy to ensure operations run safely and efficiently.

Core Responsibilities

• Dispensing Medication: Retrieve, count, pour, weigh, measure, and mix medications.
• Packaging and Labeling: Prepare prescription containers and print labels before the pharmacist's final review.
• Customer Service: Greet patients, answer the phone, process payments, and help locate over-the-counter products.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, track expiration dates, receive deliveries, and alert pharmacists of low supplies.
• Administrative Duties: Update patient records, enter data into the system, and process insurance claims.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Detail-Oriented: High accuracy is required to ensure the correct dosage and medication are provided to the right patient.
• Multitasking: Ability to balance customer service with technical duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Clear, empathetic interaction with patients alongside the ability to relay questions to the pharmacist.
• Technical Qualifications: Depending on your region, technicians typically need to complete an accredited certification program, pass board exams, and maintain an active state or national license.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
