Fatgbems Petroleum Company Limited is a member of Fatgbems Group, incorporated as an independent petroleum marketing company under the late founder, Alhaji Fatai Gbemisola in November 1994. The company started the Retail Station services operation with a fuel service Station in Ejigbo, Lagos in 2006. The multi-million petroleum marketing business expanded rapidly with the establishment of several other service Stations in other parts of South-Western States. We own and operate a very big tank farm that can store millions of refined Petroleum Products.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Location: Lagos

 Job Summary

• The Dispatch Rider is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery and collection of documents, parcels, products, and other company items.
• The role involves ensuring that deliveries are completed accurately while maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect parcels, documents, and other items to and from designated locations.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods according to assigned schedules.
• Obtain delivery acknowledgements, signatures, and relevant documentation from recipients.
• Verify items before dispatch to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain proper records of deliveries, collections, fuel usage, and mileage.
• Ensure the assigned motorcycle is clean, functional, and properly maintained.
• Conduct routine inspections and promptly report mechanical faults or damages.
• Comply with all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
• Handle company property and customers' items with care and professionalism.
• Assist with administrative errands such as bank transactions, document submissions, and procurement-related deliveries when required.
• Report delivery issues, delays, accidents, or security concerns immediately.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE / WAEC qualification.
• Valid Rider's Permit and driver's license.
• Proven experience as a dispatch rider, courier, or similar role.
• Must reside within Ikeja and its environs
• Good knowledge of local routes and road networks.
• Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to ride for extended periods.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
