Job Title: Junior Accountant

Overview

• ‎We are recruiting a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations within a fast-paced transport and logistics organization.
• ‎The successful candidate will assist with financial record keeping, transaction processing, reconciliations, and reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal financial procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in an operations-driven environment.
• ‎Ultimately, you will support smooth financial operations and contribute to accurate financial reporting across the organization.

‎Key Responsibilities

• ‎Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• ‎Process daily financial transactions and update accounting records
• ‎Support accounts payable and receivable activities
• ‎Assist with bank reconciliations and ledger management
• ‎Prepare basic financial reports and expense summaries
• ‎Monitor invoices, payments, and supporting documentation
• ‎Support payroll and statutory remittance processes where required
• ‎Ensure proper filing and organization of accounting documents
• ‎Assist during audits and financial reviews
• Support the finance team with administrative and accounting tasks

‎Requirements

• ‎Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ‎2–3 years’ experience in accounting or finance-related roles
• ‎Experience within transport, logistics, or similar operational industries is an advantage
• ‎Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• ‎Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• ‎Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
• ‎High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• ‎Good communication and teamwork abilities
• ‎Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.

‎Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly (Net)
