Job Summary

• A fast-growing retail fashion business in Lagos Island is seeking a Maintenance Officer who will be responsible for ensuring that all store facilities, equipment, and working environment remain in excellent condition at all times.
• The ideal candidate should be hands-on, reliable, and able to quickly respond to maintenance issues to support smooth daily operations.

Role Overview

• The Maintenance Officer will handle general repair duties, preventive maintenance, and ensure the store environment is safe, clean, and functional for staff and customers.

Key Duities

• Carry out daily inspection of store facilities and equipment
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks promptly
• Fix basic electrical, plumbing, and structural issues when needed
• Ensure a safe, clean, and functional working environment
• Report major faults to management and coordinate repairs
• Maintain maintenance logs and service records
• Support store setup, relocation, or equipment installation when required
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND or Technical qualification
• 1–2 years experience in maintenance or technical support role
• Basic knowledge of electrical and general repair works
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Physically fit and detail-oriented
• Good communication and reporting ability.

Salary
N200,000 Monthly.
