Job Summary

• We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and student-focused English Teacher to join our secondary school team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality teaching while supporting the academic and personal development of students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the approved curriculum and teaching standards
• Monitor student learning and provide feedback on academic progress and development
• Identify students with learning difficulties and collaborate with relevant support staff where necessary
• Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment
• Grade tests, examinations, assignments, and provide timely feedback
• Provide pastoral care and support students’ overall growth and wellbeing
• Maintain effective communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress
• Contribute positively to teamwork and collaboration within the school community

Requirements & Qualities

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Teaching qualification and relevant teaching experience in a secondary school environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Child-friendly disposition with a high level of professionalism and integrity
• Poised appearance, good diction, and strong teamwork skills
