Job Title: Football Content Writer

Job Responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit engaging sports content including news articles, match previews and reviews, player interviews, opinion pieces, and analysis.
• Stay up-to-date with current sports events, leagues, tournaments, and athlete news across multiple sports (e.g., football, basketball, tennis, etc.).
• Create content optimized for SEO and social media to drive audience engagement and traffic growth.
• Collaborate with editors, designers, and social media teams to ensure content accuracy, tone, and visual appeal.
• Monitor performance metrics (views, shares, comments) and adjust content strategies accordingly.
• Maintain a consistent voice and brand style across all content platforms.
• Fact-check statistics and ensure credibility by referencing reliable sources.
• Adapt writing for various platforms, including websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media channels

Requirements
Interested candidates must:

• Possess a B.Sc. dDegree in any relevant field.
• Have 2 to 4 years of work experience.
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of football and other sports.
• Own personal remote work tools, including a functional laptop.
• Have reliable access to electricity to support remote work.
